Civil Ceremonies

Borris House is a registered HSE civil ceremony wedding venue. There are three rooms available in the house which can cater for different groups:-

The Morrison Hall - up to 50 guests
The Dining Room - up to 75 guests
The Ballroom Wing - up to 180 guests

Drinks Reception

Why not treat your guests to a drinks reception after your civil ceremony and before you move on to your reception.

We allow all our wedding parties to bring their own alcohol for which we charge a corkage fee of €5.00 pp. This cost includes organising the glasses required and polishing of said glasses. Opening of bottles and provision of staff to pour and top-up throughout the drinks reception. We will also arrange for all the empty bottles to be taken to the bottle bank and for the full bottles to be packed up for collection by the bridal party. The Borris House wine and champagne list is available on request.

Please note that our civil ceremony packages include the use of the gardens for your wedding photographs, free parking and full co-ordination of your day.
