Holiday Courses set in an inspirational historical house
Borris
house has been a place of inspiration and creativity to many generations
of artists and musicians from Cecil Frances Alexander in the 18th
century to more modern day bands as The Thompson Twins and The
Hothouse Flowers and resident contemporary artists like Barry
Cooke, who is responsible for painting The Tree of Life in the
Chapel.
So
what better place to come and be inspired and enjoy one of our
bespoke courses or workshops than Borris House. Indulge your passion
for painting, or why not try your hand at felt making or embroidery?
Or for the more active, we currently have horse trekking and riding
lessons with plans for yoga and Nordic walking in the not too
distant future.
Our
courses are conscious of the importance of time management in
people's busy lives and as such will be offered specifically on
an intensive weekend or weekly programme that will suit people
who wish to combine learning with their annual holidays. Your
holiday is the perfect time to unlock your creative potential
in an uplifting environment and makes an excellent singles holiday
as well as a family holiday with a difference. We have a self
catering cottage on the grounds that can be taken on a weekly
or nightly basis just click here for more information.
