ffrenchs fine foods is a small business, run by a husband and wife team, Mickey & Clare ffrench Davis, and they specialise in providing tailor made menus for parties and weddings. They offer an outside catering facility that can incorporate any type of event whatever the size, nature or location. They have extensive experience catering for weddings, parties and corporate events and if required can provide an event management service to ensure the smooth running of your event. Michael trained with Darina Allen at the Ballymaloe Cookery School and gained his experience with The Allen Family at Ballymaloe House and with Richard Corrigan and Sebastian Snow in London. He has a long association with Borris House where he regularly cooks for house parties, events and weddings.


"The quality, traceability and freshness of our food is very important to us and as such we try wherever possible to serve food that is local to Borris and is free range, organic, Irish and homemade without any additives, colouring or flavour enhancers. Indeed we often use lamb straight from the farm on the estate at Borris, as well as seasonally grown vegetables and herbs.
