How To Find Us:

By Road:
From Dublin take the N7 (2nd exit at Red Cow Roundabout) signposted The South N8, N9. Continue straight on to join the Motorway M7 signposted Limerick, Cork. At junction 9 take left hand lanes, then join the M9 motorway (signposted Waterford, Killkenny, Carlow). At the end of motorway continue forward onto the N9. Continue straight through Castledermot and Carlow following signposts to Waterford and Kilkenny N10. At Royal Oak turn left onto the R724 (signposted Bagenalstown/Muine Bheag) Continue forward onto the R724. Entering Bagenalstown/Muine Bheag Turn right onto Kilree Street - R705 (signposted Borris). Continue forward onto the R705 straight to Borris. When entering Borris, turn left, Borris House is half way down the village and can be entered through the large gate tower on your right.

By Train:
A direct service is available to and from Dublin from both Kilkenny Train Station and Bagnelstown / Muine Bheag Train Station. Both trains take approximately one hour and forty minutes. Kilkenny Train Station is a twenty minute drive from Borris House while Bagnelstown in only a ten minute drive away. Trains are also available from Waterford to Kilkenny and from Cork to Kilkenny via Kildare or Waterford.

By Air:
Dublin airport is one hour forty minutes drive from Borris House and Cork Airport is one and a half hour's drive away. Waterford airport is only 45 minutes drive but flights can be limited. Please note that these times are approximate and depend entirely upon the time of day you are travelling and the traffic levels on the road. Helicopters can land with prior notice only.
